About Us
The Albany Law Environmental Outlook Journal was founded in 1995 and functioned as a student-edited environmental law review. The journal published semi-annual issues containing articles on a variety of issues in environmental law and policy, natural resources law, international environmental law and other topics relating to law and the environment. The authors included law professors, environmental law practitioners, policy-makers and leading members of environmental groups. This publication served as a research tool for practicing attorneys, scholars, government officials, environmental organizations and others with an interest in environmental law and policy.
In the fall of 2007, the Albany Law Environmental Outlook Journal was replaced by the Albany Government Law Review. Similar to its predecessor, the Albany Government Law Review is a student-edited law review releasing semi-annual issues. The journal will be publishing articles focusing on a variety of issues relating to legal aspects of government and public policy. The Albany Government Law Review will use of an all-symposium format to publish these themed issues that feature articles from distinguished legal scholars and academics, as well as notes and comments written by Albany Government Law Review members. Our inaugural issue will focus on campaign finance reform and is expected to released in January of 2008.
